Besselink & Jones appoint VMPR

VMPR have been appointed from 1st November 2007 to handle all UK and international PR and press activities for Besselink & Jones.

Besselink & Jones is a British company which has established itself as a leading designer and manufacturer of innovative and decorative bespoke lighting. All the design, brass turning, woodcarving, metal plating and bespoke work are handled in-house and at its factory in Surrey. As well as a range of classic English lighting, Besselink & Jones offer a fully bespoke service; they can reproduce and rewire antique lamps as well as converting treasured objects into serviceable lamps. The high quality of the shades which they can make up with a minimal lead time has deservedly given them their prestigious reputation in the interior design world.

The managing partners Ben Simpson and Neil Watton joined the company in1996; under the tutelage of Hank Besselink they worked on spectacular projects such as the Royal Norwegian Palace and The Astoria. St Petersburg. With a combined 23 years at the company, they have a genuine passion for their newly expanded workshops and have invested in the techniques which have kept Besselink & Jones at its consistently high standard for nearly
40 years.
Ben and Neil’s vision is to maintain the traditional feel of the company whilst also focussing on developing new products that show off the quality and range of the workshops.

With a showroom in Chelsea Harbour and a shop in Walton Street, Besselink & Jones continues to go from strength to strength creating pieces that retain their beauty and stand the test of time.

New for Autumn 2007 are the soda-siphon pieces, purist pieces
and chandeliers.
